From Trek Today
A prequel? That could mean anything.

Trekweb speculated that if project would indeed be picked up by studio Paramount for development as a full-fledged series, Berman and/or Braga might play a reduced role in Enterprise's fourth season.
And this could be the best part of the whole thing.

I was really wanting a continuation from Nemesis, with Riker and the Titan.
Ditch B&B however.
-
What class of ship is the Titan?
-
For cryin out loud, a prequel to what? to TNG/DS9?Voyager? To TMP, or TOS? Please don't say to enterprise. I wouldn't mind something just after ST VI, with lots of mirandas and excelsiors in their prime.
CK
P.S. I like Latinas...
....And apparently Asian Ladies as well...
-
it cant be a TNG prequel ,they all look like fossils now!
-
I am hypothesizing now that this film is intended to be a contingency plan for Enterprise. It must be becoming clear to Berman that he won't be getting a full seven seasons out of the show, so he's hoping to stick events like the Romulan War and the Birth of the Federation in a film in case Paramount drops the axe on the series before they can get to those events.
-
That could be a bad thing if it is based off of Enterprise. If the series is doing badly, I don't imagine box office returns would be all that great either.
I could be wrong, but I'd imagine it may even be an abysmal flop if based off Enterprise.

"Captain's Log Stardate 6051: had trouble sleeping last night... my hiatal hernia is acting up again. The ship is drafty and damp; I complain, but nobody listens." -- Kirk, "Star Trek XII: So Very Tired"

Slap me if Im wrong..but thats the opening to a simpson episode right? If I remember correctly, then thats funny as hell.
-
The funnier part is that we're almost at Star Trek XII
-
Edit: Ah, what the heck, here's the whole bit:
Star Trek XII: So Very Tired
Space: The Final Frontier. These are the voyages of the Starship Enterprise. Her mission: Maintaining bladder control.
Kirk: Captain's Log, Stardate 6051: Had trouble sleeping last night; my hiatal hernia is acting up. The ship is drafty and damp. I complain, but nobody listens.
Sulu: Captain, Klingons off the starboard bow.
Kirk: Again with the Klingons? Mr. Scott Give me full power.
Fat Scotty: It's not good Captain. I can-na reach the control panel.

It is from the "Itchy and Scratchy Movie" episode. Rat Boy posted the whole bit. Wish I could have found some pics from it. Funny stuff.

It's the Scotty one that makes the line funnier. Just seeing him standing there with his arm out, not even trying...
