Title: Federation Missions - Elqusive Quarry

I'm stuck on the Federation mission - Elqusive Quarry where U have been ordered with other ships to destroy the Tal Shir's command base, I having problems trying to do this mission, I was also wondering what shields, weapsons and engines I should use for this mission and how to do I get past it?
