Title: can some1 make the shuttels last longer in sfc3

i mean have sheilds and photons and armor. and where can i find this shuttel

as for shields on it don't know never really cared much for SFC 3

alter the shieldspace value for the shuttle in the Defaultcore so the shuttle will accept shields

Then add shields in the shuttles defaultloadout

Use this file if you want. The shuttles in the defaultcore have shields, mines and greater hull str. Note I did this by changing the class of ship from SH to FF if I remember. That way you can load out the shuttle the same as a ship. However I didn't give then photons though it could be done.  

Please note this is a MOD. If you only want the improved shuttles. Then unzip this to somewhere besides your SFC3 folder.
Then find the shuttle entries in defaultcore and defaultloadout. Then cut each line seperate and paste them into the original game files. Making sure to delete the defaualt shuttle entries 1st. Always back up the original files 1st.  You need to do this for each race's shuttle.

btw WINRAR is available here http://www.rarlab.com/      There is a free trial period. You need it to unzip .rar files.

uh all i get is no shuttel when i launch it i have the generations at war mod will that affect it.

It may.  Because they may not be pointing the model to the stock shuttle.  It might be best to just mod the shuttle yourself using the defaultcore. txt file you have with the mod u are using.  Here is what the unmodded line for the shuttle is-

-20   SH   5   0   5   210   200   300   400   Fed-Shuttle   FedShuttle   PrimaryHP:1:330_30   HeavyHP:12:330_30   HullHP:1:2:3   BridgeHP:1:2:3   ship   Mines:0:0:0   Marines:0:0:0   Shuttles:0:0:0

Sorry it wraps around the lines in the forum.   If the shuttle does not appear, its likely that instead the mod is not using this stock shuttle designated by this entry.
Fed-Shuttle   FedShuttle  

Just make sure your shuttle for the feds is in the FedShuttle folder and the mod file is names FedShuttle as well.
This would be similar for the other races also. But if that mod changes the race maps, that might throw it off also.
