I finally got around to making some progress on this one. It's a late TNG era heavy cruiser, sort of an Ambassador/Galaxy/Sovereign combination.

Hi WZ nice to see u again,

I do indeed hope that yellow is temporary! :-D

otherwise the model is quite nice, not to my taste...but then again we all have our own likings...post some more progress pics

Interesting. Trying to keep the simplistic TMP styling in TNG era...not a bad concept. U do realise though that that shuttle bay is 4 decks high in that scale?

Actually, it's only 2 decks high considering that just 2 rows of windows (and therefore 2 decks) equal the bay's height.

Great to see you back WZ

Awesome job my man...Great concept and Execution of the design
It fits a part of history seldom explored...Pos- TMP  to Pre-TNG maybe???
Also glad you brought back those very cool warp nacelle designs (nice enhancement ...BTW you might consider to change the color on the yellow parts to bronze...or gold...if you had not done so already...consider I mean )
