It's nothing personal, but I prefer keeping my ships on a single site so I can have more control over them. It's a bit tough keeping ships updated when you have a dozen websites to contact

The STGD uploads are simple. No limits and easy to manage.

Here is the link:

Don't worry they're just trying to plug their own service, the idea that someone wants to keep their models on their own place to keep track of is alien to these guys I guess. ;D

Yes, and their seems to be a slight loophole in my mod use policy on DRS. It says not to post my work on another site with the exception of mods and approved conversions. As the ships are being used in mods, they are technically, following the policy.

Really? So is that an intentional loophole on your part?

Edit: Oh BTW, this is following the last bit of your policy about not giving out blanket permissions, I'm notifying you of some ships I've done based off your feds that I'd like to release as soon as Rogue gets his site back up, this is the complete list (I've probably mentioned some others before, some are updated versions):

Constitution-Refit blue version (updated for extra uber accuracy)
Constitution-Refit green version (updated for extra uber accuracy)
F-CF USS Sicilia
F-DD Saladin (texture alterations to fit in with the Hermes and Revere)
F-SC Hermes
F-DDG Revere
F-CAD Lafayette
F-CVL Coronado
F-CVS Oriskany
F-DW Catalunya
F-DWD Euskal Herria
F-BCG Kirov
F-BCJ New Jersey
F-BCF Bismark
F-BCD Mittelmark
F-CVA Napoleon
F-SCS Julius Caesar
F-NCL Franz Ferdinand

All are based completely on TMP Feds recently released by you Wicked Zombie and all mesh and texture alterations are obviously by me Marauth.

Ah, somewhat. I added that line to the policy under the assumption that people would want to use the ships in mods and dynaverse packs, though I didn't think anyone would post them as individual files for seperate mod downloads. Not a big deal really, just a bit of a lapse on my part in wording the readme files.

So, no, DD, I wasn't being a dink, I just didn't pay attention to my own rules. ::)

Yeah, you can release 'em, Marauth. On a side note, I'm assuming you removed the bottom details from the TMP version of the Connie? As I understand it, they didn't add the TOS style boxes and such until the Ent-A repaint and the only thing on the TMP version is the phasers and navigation light.

yup, wz.. those who decide to break out the models from the mod for individual hosting need to contact the modeler to avoid stuff like that. (i put that in my mod read me)

i know of at least one individual i have asked repeatedly to assign the names of the modeler(s) and contact them after they took it upon them selves to disect a couple different mods and attributed no one for their credits.

not a good thing.
