Why didn't B&B start Enterprise like this?????
Good episode. The battle rocked. Second one in a row I've liked. The reptillians are good villians.
Sooooooooooooooo...
How will the Season (or Series depending on your view) end?

i enjoyed it, as usual I hate waiting a whole week to wait for the conclusion but I guess its always going to be like that, im just wondering if he fails, will that time traveling guy just go back in time and see him again, how does that work out, time travel puzzles me, because IMHO, I would just go back and tell Archer whats going to happen or something, those guardians interfered, so why cant he...

Archer, Daniels, Guardians, other goofs in the "Temporal Cold War" are lawbreakers- the second law of thermo. Dang! Ain't they got no schools in that there future nowhere in the galaxy??
* * *
But it was A VERY GOOD EPISODE . I'm going to miss Major Hayes... a major hey- ain't they got that time travel stuff? Ain't they got the powder to bring him back from gettin offed?
-

I was happy that Hoshi is still around but sad that Hayes bit the dust. He was the ultimate 'Extra in a red shirt'. If this is the kind of stuff we have to look forward to then I can't wait until next week and next season. Last nights episode was very good.

Odd, ten minutes after he died I saw him as the Republican Speaker of the House on The West Wing. Guy gets around.
-
Culp also has a recurring role on 'JAG' so it was no shock they killed him.
Well, I'm glad to see Enterprise is finally getting good, I think that a new writer will guide it next year, the guy that wrote the last two episodes, which is a giant leap forward.
What I would do starting in year four is throw out all the tempporal cold war crap and go back to the founding of the Federation.

Another good episode!
Minimal time travel stuff, lots of human action errr drama, Treknobabble at
a minimum. However the old transporter can only take some of you trick
was a dead giveaway that something bad was going to happen, in fact,
they could have had the same consequences without the "buffer reset".
Imagine having to write the letter to someones parents: "Dear Mr and
Mrs. Jones, your son was killed in a traggic buffer overflow accident... "
.
Fish ship == B5 White Star on steroids?
Thanks,
Dave

Yes, it was a giveaway. I'll forgive them for that one though, considering even writing that in is a step in the right direction from the sheer awfulness of some of Ent's past episodes.
I hope that the reprieve that the show has been given will serve as a wake-up to the people in charge. Maybe they won't let the show find itself in the position of having a good chance of not being renewed now.

It just isn't Star Trek if the transporters don't malfunction at a critical time!
