Excellent Job bud !!
-
i'd second that. I WANT THAT SHIP. pls give it to me
-
Great Googly Moogly !!!! WOW. May I suggest............
The Shinma Class USS Hikaru Sulu
Shinma is the Japanese term for a " Malevolent Ghost ". I think that suits this ship quite well. Azel man,Paramount just doesn't understand what they're missing out on not hiring you.

why not call it the Rossini (after the composer and the name of Sulu's daughter's last command and keep the name of the ship as Hikaru Sulu since he is the coolest captian.... well he later became admiral of a starfleet acadamy on the moon on near the area known as New Berlin and ended up teaching navigation for 20 years, before going home and dying surrounded by his family and Chekov.
2 weeks later his daughter became captian of an excelsior class and went on to make first contact with 3 races but eventraly died when her ship the USS Rossini a Miranda class ship and her second command was destroyed when its deflecter dish failed while at warp (what a way to go and almost ironic)

maybe she should have taken driving lessons from the old man then.
other than that this ship ROCKS
-
that wasent funy
btw Aziel mgifisant work as all ways
ceep it up
-
yes, it was funny, its make-believe.... Star Trek= fantasy as Electricity bills= reality
thanks ModelsPlease, can't forget Fallen Warrior, when you design your own ship class, you cna name it whatever you please...
nice angularity on the battlecruiser Azel, a triumph as always
-
His daughter was in command of an Excelsior first, then a Miranda ??????? She was demoted huh? How do you go from Starfleets biggest and baddest (at the time) to a Miranda ? Was her first command the old Excelsior style or the Ent B / Lakota refit, where she was assigned in Generations and was her second command an old Miranda or a refit version ?Please if you know more I'd love to hear about it.And no offense but Rossini ?
sounds more like a class of spaghetti then a class of Starships,an idividual ship cool but not a whole class. My $.02.

Wow! That is a neat design. Maybe this should be considered a possible Class for the USS Titan.
-
here are some updated pics

hhhpppiitaaa huba huba huab........wow funky RL model that calss really does rock whens the playable model coming out its class and brill and about 100 other words that arnt allowed untill after 11pm
great work as always azel
-
Man, that is a very interesting design in my opinion. Its too bad Gene didn't make the Ent-C and Ent-D like this design. Would have really made a great connection between the Excelcior Class too the Soverign Class. Nice ship man.
-
Last 2 to show some detail...Obviously the details do not match...I drew the ship at work...and made the model a year ago...but just recently painted her

-
any idea when it will be made in the electronic versions and who will be doing her or is it joining the ranks of ships that might not be made for sfc
-
nope
not unless someone wants to make her
-
i wish i had the talent and the tools to make her all i can do is help on textures (seams its all im good at apart from flying the ships in game) but this ship cant just be left to the maybe if someone takes her up that isnt right so someone please make her if your not good with textures ask me and i will help out as much as i can

Where'd you get this from? Is it canon information on the life of Demora Sulu, or is it speculation...because to be honest, it's sounding a lot like the latter.
BTW, a ship can't have failure of a component it doesn't have. A Miranda class ship doesn't have a deflector dish, so how this non-existant component failed at warp is a bit of a mystery to me.

I'll see your bump
and I'll raise you another
bump for a Modeller for this outstanding design.

he must have ment the deflector aray not the dish sence evry ship has on one way or another

its half and half i found an old book which was written about the same time as generations so its not completly cannon but i like to take the books as a "what if this happened on a day where the show didnt cover" but i speculated that sulu died in his house surrounded by freinds and family (thought it was a nice honourable way to go since he was always getting shot at)
sorry about the confussion with the deflector dish thing it was the deflector array. and the reason why demara got given a miranda was because she kinda had to blow up her excelsior (just the plain old excelsior class no refits) to close up a big nasty rift that was theatening to destroy a planet or something and she broke the prime directive im not sure of the details i will try to find the book all i can remember its done by a british author which is why i bought it(that and it was cheaper than buying all 9 of shattners books just to get a good read which i ended up doing anyway)

Lovely! Question, why'd ya go with the short nacelles?
-
Magnificent evolution of the Excelsior class there, Azel.
Haven't seen something that nicely proportioned in some time... well done.
That would make a real nice Titan...
-
Hey Cleeve! Nice ta hear from you. I owe you lots. You were the one who introduced me to this whole thing! Now back to the subject.
-
Coll Cleeve is back to the Town
Nice to see you man...

Lovely! Question, why'd ya go with the short nacelles?
...survivability
a shorter nacelle is less of a target than a long trailing one...lol
Also, I designed the ship as the fed's first or prototype Deterrant cruiser...so the ship as alot of fortifications to her
spaceframe.
these include:
shorter, wider interhull
Compressed overall design
Defector visor
wider/deeper warp pylons
Shortened warp nacelles
and fortified hull(especially the foward saucer, and ventral secondary hull)
-
Works for me!
-
same here

hmmm along those same lines what could ya reccommend for the new X-CLC nacelles ... I like your thinking on this matter !!

I see. I'm sorry if I came off a little strong. But at the surface, it didn't make sense. That, and I've read a different account of her life. In the Lost Era novel Serpents Among the Ruins, Demora becomes commander of the Enterprise-B in 2311 after numerous years as its executive officer. After playing conspiracy chess with the Romulans and winning (at high costs), John Harriman resigns and gets married, but not before leaving a recommendation that results in her first command. Although the plot has you scratching your head at times, I liked the notion of a Sulu commanding Enterprise.
-
hey its cool and the idea of a sulu in the command chair is always agreeable with me and im sorry for the confussion in the first place

Bump for a modeller
