So, Spike TV does this, and at the perfect time slot, 7PM, right where I can see it and not interfere with the families' TV habits, and everything is fine in Trek land.
So what do these idiots do???
They move the show to one in the friggin afternoon!!!!
Now, I'm left with:
a) Trying to figure out the VCR timer, forget it, won't happen.
b) Spending money on something like Tivo, forget that, raising a family is costly enough.
c) Not seeing the damn show.
DAMN!!!!

I have satellite, and a DVR (like a TiVo).
I just scroll ahead, see when DS9 is playing, press Info, read what the episode will be about (for example, it might say: "Sacrifice of Angels: Sisko leads a mission to retake Deep Space 9"), and if I want it, hit record. When it comes on, it records automatically.
MUWAHAHA!

VCR timers are easy to use...follow the checklist...
1. Hit the menu button
2. Hit clock and set the time
3. Go to recording options (may be different from VCR to VCR as to what it's called)
4. Enter the time and date you want the VCR to start
5. Enter the time and date you want the VCR to stop
6. Insert tape...done.
Similar to TiVo, perhaps a little more complicated, but not that much.

Bob sure does get around doesn't he? Man, They moved DS9 off on my charter network to 1PM... At 7:00 we have been NBA's greatest moments?!?! I love the NBA but this is nuts! I wanna see DS9!
