something we sketched today  ... it is more of a Defiant class ... actual size woukd be about 25% larger than the defiant with about the same armamaent, improved shields, slighly slower speed, tougher hull more maneuverable  " USS STINGRAY'

just something we did for fun

Here's the rest of the story..

again just messin' around.  Maybe Azel or some one can use this idea and run with it on a more practicle application and make something useful out of it.  Today was the first day I've been able to relax in over two weeks.  I dont mind tellin' ya it felt good to do absolutely NOTHING around the house all day !!  WHOOP IEEEEEEE !!!!!!

Enjoy the relaxation sir,after what you've told us,you deserve it. Ilike the other renditions as well. The first reminds me of a Tus design from a while back.I dig the Vengance.

thanks bud !!  My mouth is still partially numb from the oral surgery Tuesday...

My personal fav is the combination of the two... the Stringray -2 ....  kinda the best of both of them.

Actually I've seen several ships that are some what simular ...  I was trying to remember what WZ's Shelby looked like.  That one was one cool Light Cruiser !!

Yeah the Stingray 2 does look the meanest,ya know actully it lookssimilar to Azels "s" model (from the top view that is) the saucer region. Maybe a quick kitbash and some clothes are in order.One I get good at textures I'll try learning to model and help out more. Hehehe just did my first registry   and sent it to the person that requested it.Man I have a loooooooooooooong way to go before I'll even s**k at texturing. Have a great,relaxing weekend sir!

hehehe  cool...  maybe once you get the hang of that texturing stuff you can pass it on to me too.  Since i dont have too much time to learn the 3-D stuff just yet ..  I already have photoshop (5.0 I think) maybe I can spend the extra $150 and get the new up grade to 8.0.  That maybe something I CAN break into a little at the time!
