My shortcut to OP is correct. Yet occassionally I get into game and find I have no keyboard (the focus is still lost - get those windows "bings"). Anybody have any ideas besides testing chat before I go into mission to confirm I have a keyboard? It always seems to happen at the worst times... (running on a P3 1000MHz 640MB w/ Matrox G450).
Does this happen to others too, even with the edited shortcut? Is there a way to avoid it?

If you have WindowsXP (and it sounds as you do) alt/tab or hit the Windows Key to minimize the game, and then maximize the game/bring it back up from the task bar...and you should be able to use the keyboard...happens to me all the time in WinXP and that trick seems to work...
