Far, FAR too much time travel.
I guess with Angel and Enterprise on this current course, there is no need to watch TV on wednesday.
Oh wait. . . Trek is switching to a different night, right? Whatever. No need to check which night to which it is moving. . . . .

Trek Today (http://www.trektoday.com/news/070704_01.shtml) has even more details, including what's going on onboard the Enterprise during all this. Guess who's back?

why us.. why cant b&b go terrorize some other franchise.. the sad thing is that berman said that they refuse to go back to the thesis of the first two seasons: exploring space. i hate to say this, but gene must be rolling over in his grave.. that is what BUILT trek..
im sure the suits and paramount could give a rats rear as long as money is coming in.. but thats the odd thing, it is not.. but im sure they keep using the frame work of "first contact" as a business model example and that makes sense to the suits..

B & B are freakin jerks.
I only wanted the show back beacuse that idiot Braga said he was leaving, instead, now that it is renewed, he's 'mapping out' the EXACT CRAP that map 'Enterprise' a dude to begin with!
Who the hell wants this temporal cold war nonsense?
The only good thing is this, and I'm sure Dumb & Dumber will screw this up also:
"We've got a couple of them that I think are going to have some big surprises and things that will hearken back to perhaps The Original Series. We'll bring in some actors, and possibly some characters, that are very familiar to our audience." [/b]

omg no NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

It's going to be hard to compete against The Charmed Ones not to mention Jag.Let see what Paramount show can out do who yes The Charmed Ones is a Paramount show as well.I am going to be taping it and see how it works out. This really going against the Star Trek grain from previous shows. This time it is really insulting our intellect about Star Trek. This will possibly drive more viewers away from Trek oh well you can always play on a server that night.

What would writers do without resistance groups?
Still tuning in to see how they get out of the alternate timeline.

Alien Nazi's? you have got to be kidding me?
Time travel again?
Next time theyll have commie surfers take over the enterprise and the series will end because all the crew will die ina temporal pogrom

Future boy should come back and eliminate himself.

In the interview in the link I posted in the movie thread, it sounds like this'll be the last TCW story of the show, at least according to Braga. It makes sense since Silik and the Suliban are involved.
-
Don't get me Wrong, I dislike Bragga And Berman alot, and was one of the First to Jump on the AkiraPrise is going to Suck band wagon when The show was first announced.
That Being said there where a Few Good episodes in the last few years. I know Blyre and I had along Discussion about how archer would be a Mirror of Beckett.
If this is truly the last Time arc, then good. I'm still Wanting to see the Show, But They need to get back on track I think. Exploring, Rom Wars, Birth of the Federation, etc.

The 'cold war' crap has to stop.

I for one have no problem with the Temporal Cold War except that it was dropped for the whole Xindi Arc. They have developed the codl war pretty poorly to this point. To me thinking about it now, the Xindi story was far too reflective of 9/11 and a reaction to it.
I like time-related storylines, although I certainly wouldn't mind more interaction with klingons and romulans and the andorians for that matter. The whole andorian/vulcan thing I found very compelling. Anyway, I just want the new season to start. Reruns are getting old.

Ok Hold Your Horse... I can Agree With Lepton on this 100%. I would very much Like to see the andorian Vulcan StoryLine continue into a Possible means for the Birth of the Federation.
Good Point Lepton.

I remember when this show first came out i was really excitd about it, there wasnt supposed to be any "technobabble" solutions to that particular weeks show and it was supposed to be more character driven. They also said that they would explore the beggining of the Federation and the first romulan war. It sounded really good and i even like the ship design they ultimately chose (even though it does look like the akira).
They got some of it right, in the beggning there wasnt a UFP and the Terrans and the vulcans didnt completely trust one another or any the first member races ( i seem to remember a episode where the Vulcans were doing some electronic espionage on the andorians i think?). And you really got the feeling that the Enterprise was relly out there on thier own without a huge starfleet to back her up.
But B&B being who they are just dont seem to respond to what fans would like to see, and the show being what it is it appeals to the fans who would watch just about anything star trerk and instead go off on loony storylines for what reason i dont know. Now i still watch it because no matter what i still love watching star trek. But B&B have got to go or at the very least taken out of the loop when it comes to the writing and ideas that are made into episodes. The writers should pay more attention to what is considred "cannon" (even though there is sometrimes widely different interpretations of it).
You want a good series, give the fans who watch the show what they want, and stop damging an already wobbly creditablility with fans the people who support the the idea

I dont like trek any more i think i will stick with far better shows like stargate or farscape.
