Title: Are you a sucker for phishing?
Post by: Sarek on July 27, 2004, 07:07:57 pm
This site has a test with 10 actual emails that are being sent out.  Some are legit, some are scams.  What's your phishing IQ?

I'm screwed.  I got 2 of 10 wrong and the two I got wrong were scams I identified as legit.  :(

Woohoo!!  10 out of 10 correct!!  No phish-food for me!!

I always delete emails from senders I don't know or not expecting anything from.  Better safe than sorry!

Great test BTW--thanks for posting!

I agree with kmelew...if you don't know 'em...delete it...and no legit company will as for info unsolicited.

Pretty much the norm...but some peeps are sooooo trusting.

I got 9 out of 10.

Darn!

I called one PayPal e-mail fraudulent when it was genuine.

I guess I'm just suspicious of service like PayPal, not the service itself, but the fact that they seem just SO vulnerable to even halfway intelligent crooks.
