Hey Gang,
Was wondering something today and went looking for TCS.net and found Mackies site but did anyone ever get around to converting his
USS Ktinga into a mod file for SFC?

or this little fed patrol boat?

althought its called a pocket cruiser it looks like it would make a nifty corvette replacement for the standard sfc FF.
I did give it a shot with the old scme . . but I am more that just alittle unskilled (ie it didnt work)
Maybe someone would do a fast convert and break model for these? please . . .

At the tcs.net link . . that was from today, and I cant find a USS Ktinga there other than the .lwo version. That one at tcs.net only has the light wave only no .mod or .mod_brk I am afraid :( Are these 2 ships somewhere else maybe? I remember when you posted it around late summer last year and have been hoping to see it up but I have never found her. I hope you can help :)

It's on my to-do list.. I finally got the version with the .LWO included. ;)
I'm not home yet.. later on tonight. At this point, I'm still 800 miles away from home with a 11 hour drive ahead of me. :)

Just literally got home.. it was about a 10 hr drive. Haven't even unpacked the car yet.. :)
Very tired, but it was a good trip and a lot of fun.. will post a couple of pics tomorrow showing a couple of quick snaps taken along the way..

Just adding in hp/dps and doing the break mod and it'll be complete. (maybe this time I'll get a credit when it's converted over to BC, eh?) ;)

It's complete, and I've uploaded 'er over to Mackie at The Central Savoy.. he'll put 'er up in his d/l section once he probably checks his email. :)

Um, is there any "history" or background to this ship? I mean, who's supposed to own it? Starfleet? Klingon Defense Forces? Orion Pirates?? The aliens from Star Quest that made the NSEA Protector??? Romulans making fun of both????

I still had the FTP info.. but thought that you wanted everything uploaded via phpBB to add things into the database, and didn't see that option when I swung by..
Oh, and btw.. have also got three others here as well, and decided how I'm going to do conversions..
What I'll do is rather than waiting and waiting for them to show up in BC first before doing a ship, I'm going to just convert them over exactly how I did this one.. making it playable in SFC.
Then if/when it gets converted over to BC.. I'll *then* do the custom textures/registries for each ship to have it match what you have listed. Unless the person converting the ship over to BC contacts me befopre they do the conversion, in which case, I'll send them the custom registires/textures before the ship hits BC. Again I'll say this.. I really don't mind if the stuff I work on goes into BC, but I want to know beforehand so that I can see screenies of it in BC. :)
