Out of curiosity.....how about switching between 3.3 and 3.4.  Easy to do?

Second question...if I've got 3.3 are the models the same?  If so, I'll just download the shiplist.

I don't know which changes have been made in going from 3.3 to 3.4 but the correct thing to do is uninstall 3.3 then install 3.4.

Anything else is probably going to upset the uninstall/install process

When you attempt to install 3.4 over 3.3 it MAKES you uninstall 3.3, even the models.

FS added a cluster of new models to 3.4, and took a couple (like the extra K-D7s) out...

Gotta kill em all and reinstall either way...

Howdy everybody,  i was wondering if i install the GW3.exe ( which is located on Bozobits ) will it mess up my OP install?  Ive got 3.4 and TNG installed with models of course...

It is intended to install over OP+ 3.4. It will restore the files that were present on install when uninstalled with the option of keeping or removing the installed scripts.

Another option BB is to run a second install of OP for dedicated D2 use...then create a shortcut on your desktop bro.  This is normally what I do so as not to mess w/ my TNG files that Chris and the gang are working on.
