Just to share a story our city paper is showing today. Just thought some of you fellow drinkers might enjoy this.

Damn fine bear if ya ask me. Now that I think about, I think that was the most beer I drank in a day back in college. Hmmmm. Coincidence. Maybe? I have been having those strange were-bear dreams lately.

More stupid people who don't know how to secure food stuffs in a wildlife area. As far as I am concerned, all visitation to National and State Parks that seems to be encouraging bears to interact with humans and likely to become dependent upon their leavings (see any number of cases of bears rooting around in Park crash heaps) should be ceased immediately and altered for all time. I don't want such noble creatures turned into trash-picking hobos.

I think that is a bit harsh, I mean it's not like the bear tried to drink the Busch.

I wonder what kinda drunk the bear is when it gets a buzz on. Is it happy, horny, angry... does it go picking fights with other bears?

Don't sweat it Jinn, Busch Beer is actually the perfect thing to wash Dewers down with.

Agents then used a large, humane trap to capture it for relocation, baiting the trap with the usual: doughnuts, honey and, in this case, two open cans of Rainier. That did the trick.
When one considers the bait, it makes ya wonder how many Joe Blow passers-by almost wondered into that same trap before the bear found it ;D

Rainer is a cool place. I tried to tour the brewery back in '99 when we pulled into Bangor. When we got there, they told us that they no longer did tours. As a consolation prize, they did give us a free beer.
Bartender: "So, what do you guys do?"
Us: "We're sailors from a Pearl Harbor based submarine - we're here for a few days"
Bartender: "So, do you want another beer?"
Us: "I thought you said we could only have only one?"
Bartender: "But you all just got here (wink wink). Are you sure you don't want one?"
Us: "Oh, how could we make such a mistake. SURE, we'll have one!"
Needless to say, though we had walked there to get in, we definately required a cab to leave.
