After the dreaded restart the Hydrans started with two Lyran border stations under their control. Did I spot the Hydrans 4 VC points at the beginning for this or not? I remember tghey became VC targets for the Coalition but I don't remember if they were worth anything at the start for the Alliance.
I want to make sure the situation is the same for GW3 and my memory is very poor.

That's what I thought. Okay, that clears that up. Now it will be the same way for the other side.

WHAT!!!
Tune in next week kids when J'inn gets a call from ADB's lawyer.
J'inn: Hello! J'inn Legal Team. What can you do for us?
Lawyer: Hello this Micheal Diablo. I represent ADB and Mr. Cole in their forthcoming lawsuit againt your sorry arse.
J'inn: <sputter>
Lawyer: First off, let's talk about how bad you have screwed up the General War.
J'inn: but but
Lawyer: Let's see a Klingon planet named V'Ghina. Oh yes I smell Punitive Damages here.
J'inn: THAT WAS DH'S FAULT!!!
Lawyer: Yes but he's poor. You know the rule.
J'inn: <sigh> Never sue poor people. <grumble>
Lawyer: You sir, are screwed.
J'inn: )*($*(#&_(&*#_()*@(*@+()*@&(()@*+)@*(

The rule has been updated to say "You may not place a base adjacent to any other base or planet (allied, enemy, or neutral)."
Kroma,
PS, Blame Jinn

And, now for a techie hint interlude brought to you by Frog News ((http://www.ogle.org/frogs/images/tfrog-news.gif))
If a dyna admin. decides to place a planet in an asteroid hex, the NW (most probably) and EEK planet assault missions will default to using an asteroid base. The idea being that planets don't live in asteroid belts so it must be an asteroid base. So, if the admin. had put the planet in an asteroid hex thinking it would be hard to take. Well, the planet assault missions are pretty easy on an asteroid base, hehe. :P
Now, back to your regularly scheduled Blame "Bad Ole Putty Tat" J'inn thread.

Also true if you place an "Asteroid Base" (which appears as a planet on the D2 map) in an asteroid hex, where it logically should be. (as on the current Gravity Well map)
-
Actually karnak, when Dead"Fed"Six and I did a deepstrike on V'ghina, it was a planet assault mission with lots and lots of asteroids in it as well. ;)

Oh well, then just EEK missions will turn "planet in asteroid hex" planet assaults into asteroid base hits.

D'OH!!!
<sigh>
<opens map editor>
I'll be taking all the roids out of the planet hexes. DH, expect a new map in a few via e-mail.
-
Okay I sent DH a new map. All I did was make sure all the planets and bases were not in asteroid hexes. Now its really really hard to check this with the poopy map editor. So let me know if I missed any.
Thanks.
