Title: Adding ship into SFCIII as a battleship

When ever i change the default core ship list so the soverigen reads as battleeship insted of dreadnought the game crashes anyone know how to fix?

Did you make the Sovereign a battleship in both default files, that is a battleship in defaultloadout and defaultcore??  That might be the problem.

You cant. There are only the four size classes. FF, CL, CA, and DN....it tells the game what category it should be in

 What about the Borg? The Cube is a BB.

Yep i changed it in both files. The dominion wasr mod has ship listed as BB so its possible

you have to go in the DefaultLoadOut and DefaultCore...  copy the last DN Dreadnaught slot, and paste it right below.. in DCore, where the new slot says DN, change it to BB... in the CLassName slot, change it to Fed-Battleship... in the AlternateUIName slot, change that to whatever the ship is.
in DLoadOut, same thing, go to the last Dreadnaught slot, copy and paste another entire row just below it...change the ClassName same a befoe, Fed-Battleship... the UIName slot is where you put whatever the model's name is.... the SubName slot os my faovrite, thats where you put what the ship should be called, or show up as...
