Title: Who's your favorite comedy ensemble?
Post by: Capt. Mike on August 24, 2004, 10:12:41 pm
Just flipping through stuff, and got thinking, while I enjoy Monty Python, a lot doesn't translate to audio...then I came across some of my Firesign Theatre...and listened to them again..and LMAO...

"I think we're all Bozos on this bus"..."Don't crush that Dwarf, hand me the pliers"...and "Waiting for the Electrician, or Somebody like him" were the first..mainly because of the political pieces...preticting Nixon and Clinton long before they were POTUS...Then I listened to "The Giant Rat of Sumatra" and "Eat or be Eaten"....I've had enough for the night..

But what are your favorites??   Gotta have fun, or you get old and grey (checks painting in attic)

Oh, and "Everything you know is Wrong!!"

I always liked some of the old Timers, Abbot and Costello, The smother's Brothers, Of course MontyPython, I'll have to give this one some thought, Even though I'm leaning towards Bob Hopes USO shows (If that would be considered an Ensamble )

Not really known by their togetherness but I really like Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor on the big screen together.
