Title: Confused Noob

Hey everyone.  Got a couple of questions for all the fine folks inhabiting this forum.  I have SFC 3 (not to mention all the other volumes as well ... but they aren't installed at the moment) I installed the patch and everything.  Where exactly do I sign up for some gaming.  This is all really new to me as I have never really joined any gaming community.  I love my Star Trek and Love my SFC 3 and was just hoping to get to playing with people who really like the game and are willing to not kick my butt and laugh about it  ;)  Thanks ahead of time to anyone who answers my questions  ;D

9th Fleet are a good bunch of people, freindly with very little BS.

 Anyone else have any other advice for me.  How does this all exactly work?  Join a fleet and then your good to go.  I'm still a little confused.  So many Forums!  I just want to play already  ;)  Thanks for the link to the fleet though.  :D

Perhaps the best place to start is to get on Gamespy.

Just ask for a friendly game,and explain that you are a n00b I am sure someone would walk ya through the ropes.
