Title: What's your Favorite Cigar?
Post by: Sirgod on September 04, 2004, 10:48:52 pm
The Reason I ask, Is I was able during my trip to Vegas, to find Mine, One I hadn't seen in years.

It's a Simple PUNCH Magnum.  OK stopped selling them along time ago, and although I don't smoke anymore, It drew Me too It once again.

Mind you this is not the Cuban, But rather A Cuban Seed grown in Mexico, as the soil will make a huge differance, Either tobacco or Herbs.

anyway, I was just curious, If any one else smoked Cigars.

Stephen the Soon to be unhealthy again.  ;)

Montecristo No. 2 (torpedo)

Great cigar

also notable

Opus X (double corona)

and

Graycliffs Presidente (If like me you love a Churchill)

just make sure you accompany them with a nice Islay Single Malt, don't need to get too pricey but a Lagavulin 16 will do the trick nicely, or for a bit less a Laphroiag 10.  Of course if you got the budget you could go for an older Islay and I'll envy you for it....LOL

Montichristo #2's are a favorite

Helix is another one I like. I tend towards the strong, dark ones- but their milds are OK, too.

The only good one I can afford is a Churchill Reject.

Try a Artorio Fuente (sp?), a pretty good smoke at a reasonable price.  My boss smokes those as his everyday cigar and trust me he is cheap...... ;)

The Helixes I mentioned are about $5 each...

not an everyday-type smoke, but you can justify 3 a week with no trouble.
