Title: Help with an Unhandled Exception error.....

A friend of mine is recently having probs with his game, and doesn't know what's wrong.  Below is the error report.  If anyone can let me know what it means and what to do to fix it, let me know please?  Thanks.

i'm having the same problem.  the last 5 hours i have spent installing and uninstalling things.  i tried getting rid of the .NET framework and that didn't do anyhting.  antivirus is uninstalled also, to no avail.  i have reinstalled sfc3 like 6 times already and nothing, i keep getitng the same exact error as you.  i am going to load it onto my crappy slow laptop that has win2k on it and see if it works on that one.  god this is frustrating.  i installed the 40meg patch and i get the same error.stupid microsoft and their directx...
