Shouldn't there be a naked lady or Yosemite Sam on those mud flaps. You also should have a broken Bussard cap for that broken headlight, redneck ride kind of look.

I voted on the naked lady mud flap myself :lol: And the colors have to be primer grey or primer red ( perferably both) with bondo patches showing.
And the broken bussard cap is a stroke of geinus! :thumbsup: And remember one has to be brighter than the other. :lol:

This is one right up my alley.. give me a few days and I'll see what I can bang together. :D
I have two or three possibilities in mind for a candidate vessel already, and have some ideas for bumper stickers in mind as well.. ;)

I love the idea of the broken bussard ... or one brighter than the other .. also if ya do the mud flap thing ... be sure to put them at the end of the nacelle caps.
Dont for get to have a vent pipe with the pointy cover on the top of it ( simular to that of an old out house ... with a 1/4 moon on the side of the bridge area some where ... ) .. just for maximum affect

Okay... the works (dual) are in progress. :)
I thought about it over the last day and released that I'm going to be doing two of these to nicely cover the gamut.. and this is what I've decided as the donor vessels. :D
For the Bubba Class, I'm using p81's NX-01 as that's pretty similar in looks to what was shown in the snaps. Work has already started on this one... and this will take the position of the beat-up old car.
And I've decided to do another one as I'd mentioned simply because I realized that there is another role to fill here as well.. the beat up rusted out old Redneck pickemup truck. So I'm using two donor vessels here.. Lord Vader's Daedelus (which I got permission to mod a long time ago), and then I'm stealing parts from one of Lord Schtupp's models to put on it. Going to grab the cargo pod and hitch from it, flip them upside down, and drop it between the nacelles. Indent in the pod and I'll have the box look I'm going for after that. :D This will form the base for the new "Cletus" Class. ;)
Prerequisite rust and bondo spots are making it onto both.. and I've already got two bumper stickers on the Cletus.. both quite appropriate. Next will be the Rebel Flag on the front and then I'll get the naked chick mudflaps going after that. This, is the definition of good times. (GRIN)
Wonder if I can get in some fuzzy dice in one of the windows...

Some Ideas I just had. Duct tape wrapped around a nacelle pylon. Missmatched hull plating colors.
Alternately, I have an Idea for a Texan starship. Pink hull and bull horns on the deflector array.

The funny thing is.. my new Cletus Class is actually not a bad design after I bashed it all together... not a bad way to retrofit the old Daedelus Class and keep it flying and useful. Thought that after I got some of the initial texture work done that it'd just be bad.. but actually it's turned out nice. I may even do up some decent textures afterwards for a more serious release. But just want to show you some of what you're getting here without spoiling the surprise of the Bubba Class. ;)
