MajorRacal you have new Graceful Flyer Pictures in the e-mail I sent you.
;D Retexture #1 is done using Atrahasis' T-10 texture set.
If you like the pic I'll post it at Battleclinic.

Nice work - post for your life KF!

That is excellent. Very unique. The single nacelle look is refreshing and the lines are nice. Do you know if she is a cruiser, frigate or destroyer? She looks small and fast, from the size of that engine.
My only sticking point is I've never been a fan of the Margareta Green painjob on the early TNG Roms, but that is a tiny thing. HOwever KF is already working on that, so all are happy.

All set to go. Major Racal i modified the ship selection screen file to reflect most of what is written below. As always the retextured ship is MUCH better looking in game than in the CV generated pictures.
MajorRacal's Graceful Flyer in Atrahasis' T-10 textures:

;D If I recall correctly, the Graceful Flyer is a scout/courrier with limited armament. At least that is what I will be using her for. She might do well in Firesouls OP+ mod as a small Romulan Merchant ship too or even as a Romulan electronic warfare unit. The shape of the ship reminds me of the 1970s shuttle seen in the beginning of the Six Million Dollar Man TV show, it screams reentry vehicle!
Here's a blurb I wrote up for her LOOSELY BASED on FASA Trek, http://www.sub-odeon.com/stsstcsmua/ lists her there [under Romulan: Miscellaneous] but doesn't provide stats or background information and I don't have any of my FASA Ship recognition manuals anymore. This will be fun to cross reference with the actual Romulan Ship Recognition Manual, LOL:
Intended to replace the aging R-4 Mularr scout, the Graceful Flyer's innovative design allows it to make planetary landings. The warp engine can move backwards and reentry tiles slide over the open senory bays located on the wings and center hull. What she lacks in firepower she more than makes up for in speed, electronic warfare capability and sensory equipment. The Graceful Flyer has been predominantly seen in the infamous Triangle region located on the frontier between Klingon, Romulan and UFP space. It is also rumored that several Graceful Flyer vessels are also operating in the Outback region located near the Gorn, Romulan and UFP frontier.
Thanks again to MajorRacal for making this fine Romulan ship!

Nicely done to both of you.

Great job KF - she looks better for the new paintjob!
To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of green Roms myself, my preference is for the TMP era (for Fed, Klink and Rom). I look at the evolution of the ships between TMP and TNG and wonder what were they thinking?
I can see the basic structure is the same for the Feds, but they moved from an aesthetic elegance to bulbous super-sized vulgarity - and now I think with Enterprise-E, they've successfully returned to a state of elegance. My personal hope is that between the Dominion War and Borg mayhem, all the Nebula, Galaxy. Ambassador and Constellation class ships (and their ilk) have been destroyed...
With the Klingons... I think they lost sight of the clean lines and sweeping curves of the D-7 and jumped to sticklebrick hell (exemplified to a horribly greater extent in the Cardassians)... possibly an extension of the success of the 'bitty' BoP - and again, they jumped on the green bandwagon - ugh.
I especially look at the the Roms between TOS and TNG and think there's so little correlation it's nigh impossible to see a root design philosophy... Emm, there's a red bird on it... now it's a big green bird-ship...
And then I seen Enterprise, and think they screwed it all up even more.
Anyway, rant aside, I'm the first to admit that I'm still not so great when it comes to texturing, nor do I have the patience to rival the texturing masters we know and love. Green hulls are just easier for me to do at the moment because I don't have to worry so much about feathering details (or Kingon Plating) or birds emblazoned on hulls. However, I think I'm getting better, so in time you may see some reworked stuff.
