Don't think there is one bud, :(. You might need to put them in gmax, export as .md3, then convert to 3ds...chk with Atheorhaven though, he was working on trying to get gmax files into the game, so he may have found an easier way.

I don't think someone can legally make a G-Max to SFC plugin, after reading up on G-Max. But I think I remember that G-Max supports Quake 3 models. And so does Milkshape, maybe you can use that avenue.

Do me a favor.. send me a couple of them from Gmax 5 and I'll see what I can do.  I got a couple across from an earlier Gmax version.. but at the time, it was mesh only.  But now I have Gmax itself, a sandbox system, and a lot more utilities.. so I'll see what I can get together for everyone.  :)

That's what we're saying F_W...in order to get a gmax file into max, you have to get it out of gmax in a file type that can be converted...there is no gmax to max exporter/importer, at least not that I've seen and I've followed gmax, even made a tutorial on getting a ship into sfc from gmax (thats history by the way...can't find it anywhere :()...so you have to use the Quake III exporter to .md3, then use a converter, or get a .md3-.max importer if there is one. :-\ Gmax is a cool program, but really is useful only for building models for the supported games, and SFC won't be...the license I think is around 80,000 (US), and that ain't gonna happen.

i think there must be a way to make a importer plugin for 3Ds max to import gmax files since gmax is an downstriped max 4.2/5 and i know some people that have used older plugins that are made for max 3/4 and got them to work in max 5/6
