Do any of you read ST Novels???
If you do, Have you read ST:TNG book 26 (hard cover prefferably) called "The Romulan Prize" ???
I am asking because I need a description of the Experimental Romulan Warbird "Syrinx"
I know thus far that is big(possibly twice the size of the D'deridex-class warbirds), and she is unusual(that is she is not just
a scaled up warbird)
I require the info so I can design her, and possibly model her for SFC

PS: feel free to pass along any other Romulan or other ships that you guys may have read about(I am always interested in a new
or obscure design...to design)...Just get me whatever descriptions/info that there is... :)

The D'Kazanak class warbird Syrinx is an experimental prototype almost twice the size of a D'Deridex class warbird.
The book describes the ship as being specifically designed to match a Federation Galazy class vessel, however, the D'Deridex class is already much larger than a Galaxy class and this appears to be eroneous. The Syrinx has more efficient war engines and a new generation of cloaking device which the book describes as elliminating the telltale shimmer of a cloaked ship. It is also supposed to have more weapons.
The design appears to be like a D'Deridex warbird, but more menacing. The book is not really very descriptive in this regard, but the warp nacelles are larger in comparison to the rest of the ship compared with a D'Deridex. The only other thing the book mentions is that it is 'bristling with other inovations'. It wasn't a very well written book.

Anything about the ship being Asymmetrical...specifically in chapter 10???
