How do i log on dynaverse I have 3.4 and want to play op on dynaverse

You will need to install the client patch installer to point to the correct list server, as well as patch version of the game 2.5.5.2.

OK, yes I know this is the wrong place for this topic. Sue me.
But this post rekindled my interest and so I did a full re-install on my computer of both EAW and OP, patched them (2036 and 2552 respectively) and downloaded & installed the client patch for the servers.... And I still get the 'You are behind a firewall...' message, even if I'm connected directly through dial-up with no hardware of software firewall.
What gives? ???
(For the record, both programs were still 'installed' previously, but I had just copied them from my old HDD to the new one without running the install program & they ran fine that way but wouldn't accept the client patch 'cause it couldn't find the registry info about 'em....)

The server client patch just modifies the INI file to point to the correct IP for d.net's list server. If it didn't install you would need o edit the file man. I don't have time right this second to look it up however. I'll see if I can upload the file early this morning.
