I will give it my best shot Dis1 fire at lower range but can still cause the same amount of damage but are mount only on FF
Dis 2 fires at a medium range and can still cuase the same amount of damage and are on DDs
Dis 3 fires at longer range over 30 and can cuase the same amount of damage and are mounted on CLs and
                                       CAs
Dis 4 fires at further ranges and cuases the same amont of damage and are mounted on BCHs,DNs,BBs,
                                       Starbase and Battlestations
Dis4 is a heavy disruptor more like a beam weapon that can leak through enemy shields and cuase hull
                                       damage.
I hope this is the information you want as I did look them up on my chart and books.I could go into greater
detail but it would be long.I believe there is a read me text file in your the game somewhere.

He means DisH, or Heavy Disruptor in the last part. Heavy Disruptors are X-weapons.

Disruptor 1 has a max range of 15

Disruptor 2 has a max range of 22

Disruptor 3 has a max range of 30

Disruptor 4 has a max range of 40

The damage does not change. The little ones just can't target that far away.

As stated, the Heavy Disruptor is an X weapon. It can occasionally leak damage through shields.

So it dosn't make a difference that one looks like a pulse weapon and the other is a direct fire weapon?
