Can anyone please tell me how it is suppose to be written in the shiplist, damage, what texture it uses in the texture folder in sfc2op, does it have sound and if so does it share it with another weapon, umm lets see, when i mean the damage I also mean the range too, and alittle bit of history on it, all I know is that it is used on Andromedan ships and thats about it , but what does it do, and stuff, and Iknow I have ask this before but it was awhile back and I never copied it down, what other secret weapons are in sfc2op besides the trbl and trbh, can anyone write down how it suppose to be in the shiplist as well as what it is and damage, textures needed etc..., sounds to if any
thanks guys
adam out
I haven't played with it. I do know however it is as you wrote: TRBL and TRBH. Why don't you experiment and find out for yourself what it looks and sounds like?
Other weapons? .. ..DroE? DroD?

It's listed as TRBH and TRBL in the shiplist
There's no individual texture for it. It uses the beam weapon's texture and looks a lot like a ph-A, AFAIK. There's also nu interface for it. You have to select "multiple" hardpoints to get an interface for it, the universal multiple weapons UI.
Here's the SFB specs:
Arming
TRBH- 3pts per turn for 2 turns. 3pts holding cost ie; rolling reserve
TRBL- 2-pts per turn for 2 turns. 2pts holding cost ie; rolling reserve
No overload function
TRs have 180 degree firing arcs FH, RH, LS, RS.
Tractor-repulsers are considered "alien tech" and can not be used by any other race.
HIT-DAMAGE Table:

SFC just has it hit and do damage like a regular beam weapon. The actual effect is supposed to be a tractor beam rapidly switching between attract and repel many times a second and causing damage by "shaking" the target.
I've always thought that the tractor texture with the hit effect being like the tractor rotation effect would be pretty cool for it. Maybe after the source is released we can get a cooler effect for it, as well as a proper UI.
The best attributes of the weapon are it's considerable damage potential, outstanding accuracy (never miss all the way out to range 12 on the TRBH), wide firing arcs (combined with the Andros above average turn modes), and the fact that it doesn't use an overload function, restricting it to range 8 to do it's best damage. Also note that it jumps to a better hit % at range 5 where the galactic's weapons typically don't see an improvement inside of range 8 until they reach range 4.
P.S. Sorry, it's blue, like you said. Wrong X2 weapon, on my part. :-[
