to take picts of a WIP while in MODviewer ? If so .. how ? ( yeah ... I know .. really green rookie here !)

aslong as it is a .mod you can ;)

If you have the Model converted to *.mod and open in Mod viewer, you can use Paintshop Pro's ability to screen shot or you can get a screen shot program off CNet Downloads.... once the model is open in mod Viewer, you can take a screen shot and then host the image if you like.. that is the easiest way I know of...
anyhow.. once you capture the model in a screen shot, you can then send it back to Piantshop pro and edit it up some to remove some of the background that you don't waht.. this will save file size on the image...

Hold down ALT+ PRT SCR, then paste the image in Photoshop. ;D

AH ! HA ! ... This is what I was looking for .. thanks bud .. this will save a lot of time !! Check out the WIP in this forum for results of your advice .. many thanks !!

we did ... at least as much as we need to for now... When the ship is completed we will do a few renders.
