how many fo you dream of visiting the bridge of the enterprise 1701, sure threr blue print of it ans model but i mean the real one use for the serie, i was looking at some tos and wanted to be on the bridge and see all the command of the ship, that would be cool to do ;D.
-
I wouldn't mind, but I'd rather sit on the bridge of the Excelsior. Sulu really deserved his own series. I bet he would have been the coolest captain.
-
yea a serie with sulu would be great, also one with chekof, what was his rank in enterprise again?

I was always a fan of the Enterprise D in generations. Or perhaps the one in "All Good Things" or in the one with the like 50,000 alternate universes. (forget the name). BUt there was one with a really badass clear display behind tactical. That one rocked. lol
-
The one I'd like to see in person is the ent refit or the ent A. Next in line would be the excelsior.
I'm dissapointed that they replaced TNG with voyageur, which blew chunkie chunks. Sulu was a much better choice with the excelsior. I think Takei is an underappreciated actor, and would have done wonders for a show.
Enterprise is tolerable, although I am annoyed to no end with the mid october beginning of season, and as of last week they're already started on friggin reruns of the damn show. I tell you, the show must be dying on all fronts.
-
Did You know that When Takei Was a Little Kid, him and his Parents where actually in an Internment camp? I always found that Interesting esp. to hear him Talk about things now.

Doesn't surprise me. We weren't very supportive of our asian american citizens back then.

That's why I try to Download one Pic a day of an asian Female. It's my way of Showing my support to them.

I'd love to see a complete and accurate mockup.
And no bloody A, B, C OR D.
I always thought it would be cool to do a whole hotel up as a starship. Complete with the corridors, crew quarters for guests, working bridge simulator etc.
Now wouldn't that be a hit with the convention crowd?
-
I found a mockup from an exhibit in London. Too cool.
sigh...

Now that is Very Cool Capt. Stumpy.

Funny thing is, my house is actually round with a large open space in the center that would make an ideal place for a bridge mockup and still have all the current rooms. I could even put in a plexi dome in the center (flat roof) and a RGB projector for the viewscreen. I've often joked to my wife that we could put the registry numbers and shipname on the roof, which is white. Except I'd be worrying that some pilot might crash after he lost control by laughing his ass off.
But that exceeds even my degree of geekiness. Plus my wife is not amused at the prospect.

Heh Years ago when we lived in Arizona, I Drew up plans to add to our house, that was laid out like a Constitution. Unfortuanlty, we Moved, but It would have been nice at the time having the Kids in a Nacelle, while the Little Lady and I relaxed in the Bridge.

I will agree with on the most part about Sulu getting his on series it would nice as it is still in the 23C. The TOS Enterprise bridge is funckey like the 60s .I like the Bridge on 1701-A and the refit isn't to bad .I am not sure where they have 1701 Bridge maybe at the Hilton in Las Vagas with the Star Trek Exprience there the only reason to visit Las Vagas I am guessing at this.It would be nice to see a Capt. Sulu.
-
What I can't understand is if there weas such an outcry for a sulu show, why not do it? I mean, you've got the market for it, otherwise they wouldn't be asking for it, right?

I have been there- and have my picture taken in the captian's chair...
I THINK it was at the Smithsonian. I was about 15 or so. They had the transporter room and the 'center seat' on display. So I got pics of me in the chair and in the transporter room.

Hmmm...... after reading the article, I think it would be a great idea! Always liked George.

Nice one Stump.
Ahhhh ........ the Federation. :)

To go from an E-4 to a Captian... plenty! ;D
Great pic Stumpy... if I'm ever in London...
-
I'd rather sit on the Throne of the Klingon Empire. Then, I'd send thousands of little captains out in these things to do MY Bidding..muhahahahaha.
-
Sulu was a bit too stiff to be captain in my opinion. I don't think he would appeal to many audiences....

Mini Drachos pedalling kiddy starships all over the galaxy biting people on the ankles. Not much of an invasion force.
:screwloose:

Hey but you have to admit the sight of thousands of little midget captains with napoleon hats makes you giggle

All your bridges are belong to us!

Klingons don't giggle.

Most of you probably know this already...but for those that dont. The "ceiling" of the TNG transporter platform was originally the floor of the TOS transporter platform.
Just a bit of trivia...
