Indeed it does, notice the smallish nature of the Lyran physiology as compared with the Kzin shown below

not even a close contest, however it does show that the Lyrans obviously have a certain resemblance to the humans of the Federation.  Hmmm...lets look at a picture of Likkerpig to get an idea of how the typical Lyran looks and see if there is any resemblance to the humans
