The controversial video game Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas will be coming to Xbox and PCs in 2005, its publisher Rockstar Games has announced.
Already a best-seller on Sony's PlayStation 2- it was straight in at number one in the UK games chart at the end of October - the havoc-creating game will be heading to Microsoft's rival Xbox console and PC platforms.
The official release dates are 7 June for North America and 10 June for Europe. Pricing has not yet been announced.
Rockstar Games is the publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software.

Hmm, never got into the GTA games...a little much for my tastes.
I'm looking forward to SW:KotoR 2, Empire Earth 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Baldurs Gate 3, and maybe, just maybe, Dungeon Siege 2.

oooo Knights 2. I can't wait. It's really the one game I'm 'waiting' for.

Looking forward to Kotor 2. Never played Neverwinter, but I've heard many a good thing about it. Might be worth trying out No.2.
I'm looking forward to the sheer size of San Andreas....and the quality. The PC beats the PS2 hands down on quality. ;D

Don't forget That Our Very Own and Beloved Pnumonic81 Worked on Dungeon Siege 2.

I've never seen the attraction in the GTA games. I don't have any need to pretend to run around and be a criminal. There really isn't anything on the near horizon that I'm interested in. FF XII comes out sometime next year and Champions: Return to Arms comes out in February I think. I will probably wait until the price drops on that one.
The game Wanda and Colossus also looks pretty good. I really liked ICO and this is done by the same folks.
