I sincerely hope we stick with 3.4 for the duration of the cycle. Some races certainly seem to be better off than others with 4.0.

Cycle should be entirely same version (3.4) to avoid balance squabling among other things.

We should play 4.0 to give it a shot. Firesoul has gone to a lot of work and I think it will add a lot of fun to the server.

Anyway, aside from more technical issues, the new ships need to be factored into PBR.  This is a bit more complex than usual, since we have a plethora of these 'ships that never were'.  Maybe some balance issues that need to be thought through...

It was just a temporary downtime.. I had to deal with an issue. It should have been up all night and today, since.

Yes, balance issues
Take the gorn dreads DNL and new DLF. DLF has exact same weapons etc as DNL except is has DLF has an extra Plasma F. I would think the bvp of a ship with an extra weapon would be larger than the same ship minus the weapon.

I saw similar problems in other races with some of the new ships added.


We should stick with 3.4.
