Title: What is the latest/greatest OP server kit build # ?

Is it still build 37?

I seem to remember something about one of the builds being crap, and to go back to a previous build, but I can't remember when that was.  Sometimes around July of '03, right before SS2 I think.


Just want to make sure I'm using the proper one when I go tinkering with SS3 soon.   ;)

Build 36 is the official current kit. Dave Ferrel's build 37 is rather reluctant to give missions (was an effort to reduce the strain of missionmatching). The current development build (Mag's build 37) has not been released yet. (insufficiently tested)

After it has been tested to Mag's satisfaction. (He's been away for a while as there's not much for him to do until it is.) Problem is, nobody will show up for a stock test... and testing it on a mod is not valid... same old problem.   :(  (plus it is set to generate debug info but produces nothing useful, it just hangs on a crash and prevents the use of the processsentinel.)

Bonk I had another Brain storming session. Lotsa cool idea. We will get this solved yet!
