Title: Lower poly fighter **Fininished** d/l link is towards bottom

Its 800 polies. Is that too high for a fighter? If so then make it a PF  :D  Anybody want this? I know there was a request for fighters, but this isn't a Fed. It goes with the carrier I was working on. Its mapped to a 256. Thats why the textures are just a bit blurry, but you don't see fighters up this close in game   ;)

If someone wants it. I bet I can get it down to about 600 poly with out losing anything.

hey red_green u r alowwed to use that ftp site i set up. its for everyone. just make urself a folder if there isnt one for u yet. hehe also if u dont mind may i change the textures, even though im not a good texturer. but id like to try something. now for the polies i belive the 600-800 range sounds right to me for SFC3 anyways. loved the carrier.

Hey red how about throwing Cardasian colors on it. I think we could use a good Cardie fighter.

Ftr max poly should be 300. Thats ok for a PF.

Considering Nexus's requirements, you might as well up the poly limits for stuff when tech specs for a smooth run for that game becomes common.  Unfortunately it's not for my case, as I get a few frames-per-second, opposed to a smooth run for SFC games for the most part.  So 800 polies might not be a problem for fighters or Pseudo-Fighters, at least in my case.  It's a nice design though.

Ftrs are so small on the screen, having more than 300 polys doesnt improve their look. its in the general shape and texture.

Ok I redid the fighter. It now stands at 196 poly  ;D  I'll get it up tommorow. I think theres a game on. Manitoba,  you can retexture anything you want of mine. Heres the low poly pics

Thanks, I'll check out your site later. I put up the fighter at BC real quick. I beveled the bottom since tha last pics so it looks less boxy. Still 192 polies. In game pic.
