I'm wondering because well...Patty came out of the closet and Andrew got caught smooching Justin on Desperate Housewives. I laughed so hard on the DH episode, mostly because of Teri Hatcher's reaction to that whole scene. She thought her daughter was smooching a boy while nude and it turned out to be two boys smooching while skinny dipping in the pool. :)

Nope. stopped watching the Simpsons years ago, as for DH, I think its garbage TV. I'll watch the military channel instead.

I like Anime, I never really liked American Cartoons ( unless its Daffy Duck)

I used to watch the Simpsons years ago, before the writers ran out of good material. Now even the Halloween specials are marginal.

Same here, she was little Miss Liberal until it hit home. I'm glad she got over it.
Springfeild must have one of the biggest Gay populations. per person acording to past episodes, and this one. In the whole US. :lol:
One of my favorits is still ,is when Homer and Marge get into a fight because she said she married him because he got her pregnant.
And Homer stays with the Gay couple.

The new Looney Tunes look is more streamlined, angular and aggressive looking. Some compare it to anime, the Japanese cartooning style.
One more sign that The Apocalypse is near.

My theory is that Groenig took all the good writers when he left to do Futurama (which was a very funny show) and The Simpsons just took a nose dive.

They explain that the old Bugs and Daffy aren't technically being replaced. Instead, they say the new versions have been created to star in a new Saturday program that will air this fall. The show is set far in the future and the new *-characters –to be known as the Loonatics – are "descendants" of the originals.
"They are all new characters," said Janice Aguilar-Herrero, a spokesman for Warner Bros., calling them "reimagined" cartoon figures. "They are descendants of our classic, legendary icons. These are super, futuristic heroes."
This looks incredibly like something Marvel tried several years back with their 2099 titles. Spiderman, Punisher, Doom 2099 plus some others.
They were all futuruistic "descendants" of the originals, and had this same, more angular look with more violent attitudes. (Though how you get more violent than the original punisher is beyond me......)
The only one I thought was any good was Doom 2099, and it was the exception in that the "hero" thought he was likely still the orignal Dr. Doom (and likely was) with amnesia.
I think the whole collection of titles tanked within two years.
We'll see if this lasts any longer. Do kids really tune into Bugs and Daffy to see superhero action? Do you really want to see Road Runner grow claws sharp enough to gut Wylie? (I hope ACME has body armor for sale.) I think they are mixing concepts here. I could be wrong, maybe kids will tune into anything with flashing lights and noise, but I don't predict a big success for this show.
