I have the OoB. I need:
1) The map
2) The General War historical info.
3) Anything else.
There has to be a site with all of this. Please help. Thanks.

Do you mean the SFC version of the map, or the F&E map itself to make the SFC map?
Try this link for history:

The SFB-OP map is pretty dang close... as close as I was patient enough to get it - same dimensions, planets, bases, borders..... and to fit the mod a bit (thols on the cartel layer etc...) ... couple of F&E features missing (off map areas, etc.) attached...
(has some errors on the cartel layer as I recall... I never bothered to fix the mvm but have the sql table backed up somewhere...)
Only needs a little work... enjoy! ;D
the campaign map is still up where we left off here: http://www.frescos.dns2go.com:30033/sfbop/
looks like someone's been tunneling to earth! lol...

Just looking for the actual F&E map. Thanks.

That's just it, it pretty much is the F&E map. Anyway I just mailed ya the PDFs. You'll find it equivalent.

I have a version of the Federation and Empire Stock map...
http://www.sfc-iris.us/raza.htm
The OP dynaverse map has the terrain, but not all the space is filled in to encourage empire building.
All ya got to do is edit to add the missing controlled space.

I've got an artifex F&E map I made a few years back, which is an exact copy of the starting F&E map. The bases, starbases, planets, and borders are all exact from F&E. All you'd have to do is use Artifex to alter the starting DVs to match the ones you'd prefer and any terrain you want to add. (Yes, Wanderer, I got your PM. I can send it to you as well.)
Give me a few minutes to dig it up.

Thanks. But I really want the F&E map not an artifex map.
Reasons:
1) It's easier to read.
2) The Fed & Empire campaign will likely use a 2x size F&E map. SO I'd have to completely redo the artifex map anyways.

Harrumph!!! <mutters about 2x size heresy>
Just give me a mailing address, and I'll mail one to you. (I'm serious)
For Wanderer's sake, who asked for it in in a PM,
The F&E map (sans ISC). Every race involved in the General War; ISC used as Tholians. The Romulan unexplored zone is truncated.
ftp://www.fourpower.com/pub/Maps/EAWGALMAP.mvm
The Eastern Front (including ISC, Lyrans used as Feds to allow PFs/fighter for Feds. This was the DOE map.) All of Romulan/Gorn space
ftp://www.fourpower.com/pub/Maps/DOE.mvm
The Western Front
ftp://www.fourpower.com/pub/Maps/WesternFront.mvm
Unfortunately, and I didn't think about this before, all are EAW maps, so there is no pirate layer. You can still open them with your OP version of Artifex.

One could always buy F&E. That would pretty much give you the map.

I was thinking that you might find it difficult to find an electronic version of the map as it is essentially a copyrighted product. One electronic version that does exist is found in a gamebox for Cyberboard that is used for play by email games of F&E. If I knew a simple way of sending that to you, that might help. However the gamebox is a file that you would need to use with the free program Cyberboard to see the map, so that may be more than you are willing to do merely to get access to that map. Max Power is very familiar with this Cyberboard version of the F&E map, so he may be able to assist you better than I.
