Never let it be said that Marvel are shy to steal ideas from their competition.

After seeing the financial success of the Death of Superman in DC, Marvel (after biding their time so it's not too obvious) are now going to bring you the Death of Spider-man. Will the Marvel universe ever be the same?

That's likely to be far better than whatever tripe Raimi tries to force down our throats as S3...   :-\

I actually like the two Spiderman movies.  I especially like how the characters are portrayed.
