It's a beautiful model of a nice ship. The only thing bugging me are the windows. If you judge the height to be 18 meters (courtesy of the Daystrom Institute Technology Library (http://www.ditl.org)) and if the height of a deck is 2.5 you'd only have 7 decks. Your model, as do the screencaps, has too many rows of windows for a ship that big (or should I say small) imho. However, it's not your fault, it's the designer's. And the model is still beautiful.

Why not size up the bug to what the windows suggest and put a nacelle that is closer in design to the warship and make a whole new class? This one above would be a heavy destroyer probably, or CL, and the "superbug" could be a heavy cruiser.  Exactly how big is the bug supposed to be if we go by the windows?

And markyd...you making your own textures or bashing smiley's?

I dont bash... I only work with my own stuff... my own meshes.. and every ship I create get a fresh set of textures to boot... as you will see when you download... all..... mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine mine  ;D

As for size... I dunno... windows..... meh.... urm. . . .

Im not one for accuracy.... statistics..... facts... I just model as a hobby and for fun...

But Im open to sugestions regarding the removal of windows and the scale..  ;)

and remember the textures mesh and everything else on ANY ship I make are 100% my work... infact. . . .

Thats one of the texture sheets for the scarab  ;D

Yeah but im open to sugestions guys on the scale and stuff, thanks for the noteable interest  ;)

Well I'll make this the smaller and the heavy version larger  ;D (K.I.S.S)

As for classes.. im sure when its thrown into a mod it would be designated a new one anyway, So the small one i'll scale to the size of a sabre and adjust windows accordingly, the larger the size of voyager.. and again, adjust the windoes accordingly :)

I wouldn't worry to much about rescaling. Its been proven that startships can have different size windows (10 forward on the Ent-D has larger windows that the rest of the ship).
