-----------------
Description :

The Romulan navy saw great promise in the Reman's Scimitar Warbird design and decided to adapt similar principles in designing a new class of heavy cruisers.
Named "Shinzon's Regime" this first Manta Heavy Cruiser stands as a synthesis of the old and new Romulan design aesthetics, which proved it to be a capable warship with a more well-rounded arsenal when compared to other large Romulan warships.
The Manta was also one of the first Romulan warships to make use of far superior thaloron torpedo, along with it's 2 ventral mounted mega-heavy disruption bolt cannons. This new heavy cruiser would come to be a feared member of the Romulan fleet for decades to come. .

Now if I could only get one of these with the vents removed from the back bays I'd have a talon scout/fighter carrier for BC. IMHO the black textures on this looks totaly..well...wrong..lol  I guess some things only look good in green.

The black textures are because it's a Reman based design. As for the vents.......... I can retexture them for ya.

nah I'd need the luvers total cut out of them so they can be open launch doors for talon sized ships.

Get someone to remove the vents from the mesh and I'll texture one for you in green with back bays. Or gimme a few days and I'll see if I can come up with a carrier for ya to convert over.

Yup that was me, I took Mr. Jeff Wallace's fine Manta PIRATE cruiser and turned it into a TMP Romulan "Whipoorwill"tug.  In New England Folklore, Whipoorwills supposedly could eat the souls of the dying.... At the time I put Atrahasis' D2 RBB textures on it I mistakenly thought it was the size of a B' rel. I believe I am using it for a Romulan XFRT in Firesoul's OP+ mod.

actually the  in the back are ducted impulse louvers for increased maneuverability. that was what i thought they would be for. Otherwise use them as you like its a cool redo of the ship thanks for keeping my old crap alive
