Title: What????? You mean SFC is still alive? Anyone know a GPF-Stormbringer????
Post by: GPF-Obmanta on April 07, 2005, 10:22:07 pm
Sheese, And I thought the BCF was dead.

Does anyone remember the 1/2 year long debates on the Photon Torpedoes and the wonderful, beautiful BCF? (The goddess of the Federation?)

I remember a Stormbringer, but I don't remember when I saw him last (heck, it could have been yesterday the way my memory is sometimes anymore).

The BCF is a ridiculous ship created by fed-centric designers.  Period. ;)

That is right about the BCF as it is deadly ship if used right with overloaded torps and 2 plasma Fs that s a 104 points of damage. ;D

Shoot the Man was just over at my Ranch the other day. I talk to him about every other day, and we are gearing up for the Scarborough Fair. He Retired from Army Service last year, and Has been one of my best friends ever. At least I think that's the Storm you are talking about. Hell I even took him to Vegas with me to visit ToastyO last year.

In the hands of the right pilot the BCF is perhaps the best of the BCH's, followed very closely by the C7.  I saw that proven in 3rd fleet in countless games vs some of the best Klingon pilots in the game.

(at one point in time pilots from MOK had come over to third because MOK was collapsing...I will not mention names but we had dozens of practice games  BCF vs C7 etc...)

The difference is not great however so no one should fly a BCF thinking they have  any more of an "edge" than what they bring into the game to begin with pilot to pilot.

The problem with any FED ship is the learning curve.
