Some serious advice here:  it is not prudent to include $$$ in what should be volunteer work for a game. $$$ issues can really explode in your face big-time.

One big example was the old TNZ server from D3.

As as rule, I always refused $$$ offers from admins. for scripting work to avoid such potentially destructive land-mines.

If there's some scripter ready to volunteer coding time then that's the one you want.  It will work out for the best in the end for all involved as well as for the community.
