Title: Any Mods For SFC3???

Hey all,
 Is there any good mods out there for SFC3 that add new ships, etc. and enhance the singleplayer experience, like Universe at war does for SFC2:OP??

I know, I know use the search function. I have but most of the posts I found are old or without any links.

Just a hand guiding me in the right direction is all I need thanks.

ever notice how big mods always have the word 'War' in them?

Hi GateKeeper.

So...you bought a copy of SFC3, you've seen some of the cool mods, and now you want to try the cool ships in battle.

Check out Alt B. It's a nice mix of old SFC vets and new people as well. Heck, we had two new SFC3 people start playing on Alt B just in the past week. You can read what their impressions are on the Alt B forum. We had about 20 people playing on Alt B two days ago. As mentioned above there are a number of great mods to choose from.

 Witch Scf 3  Mod do you guys think is the best? 

 I gave up on the game  a long time ago, It would be nice to try a decent MOD, and atcuallt enjoy the thing since I forked over 50$ for the thing.

Ravok -

There are so many SFC3 visions out there - it's hard to say what's best as each is unique. I had one, still on sfc3files, that I'm going to update. My goal for SFC3 is to have a heck of a lot of fun on GSA or even single player.

Nannerslug's Generations At War, I can say from having played it, has quite the variety in it. He includes OP races, not just TNG. My focus is enhanced TNG, like the Nemesis Sovereign model from Bridge Commander firing from more arcs than you can count..   mucho fun.

Yep, finally got all the mods d/l'ed last week, loaded each one up separately to try them all, and can't decide which one I liked the best.

So I'm doing the next best thing, I'm combining all the mods together for my game, now I have the best of all worlds.  ;D

Heck, even added a couple of my own ships that weren't in any of the other mods.  Mega-fun.

If I had know this game was so easy to mod, I may have invesated in this game earlier. (Of course that is if I had known it even existed)
