Title: What Excactly is Shield Efficiency
Post by: _Rondo_GE The OutLaw on May 18, 2005, 03:25:35 pm
Thats the percetage you see after every game single or multiplayer.

But after all these eyars I have never really asked what it actually represents.   usually when you lose it is lower than when you win although on a few occassions that has not always been true.

Also in very close games I notice that it is also very close.

Perhaps it's how much strength was left after the battle, meaning how well it's still holding up after the hits it took.  Just a guess.....

Its a ratio that reflects how many times you got hit compared to how many hits got through. If you manage to win without taking internals, you will see a Shield Efficiency rating of 100%.

I assume then that "breaking a shield" counts against shield efficiency.  I wonder if there is a bonus for it?
