ok i think i'v max working and want to do some brk_mod's, but don't know how :-[ . any advice
or tut's would be helpfull.

rename your model Model_brk_1.
copy the phrase "model_brk_"
go into the polygon sub-object.
select some random faces and hit detatch...Rename it (hit control+V and then 2)
so on and so forth.
that makes a pretty basic model.
Another idea is to boolean it, but i havent had much experience with that.

thanks fury it sounds easier than i thought. one more thing when i use the cap-hole's command
will it cap all the piece's at once or only on the one selected.

Cap holes is unlikely to give you exactly what you want - it'll usually be some random mess depending on the shape of the open areas of the break model.

Yeah - at that point create poly is the best thing you can do.

thanks guys i just got the Tarawa to explode. didn't cap the hole's yet but at least she broke up. :)
