I found this site that will calculate the total power of what your system is using.

For my system is 266 Watts on a 300W P/S.

1st machine
344watts - well it will be once I add the DVD-RW.  It is a dual CPU machine with extra fans and RAID.  Might be a problem adding the DVD as the PSU is only 400w. 

2nd machine
276 watts Dual processor but less well equipped. 

3rd machine
My gaming machine is 268 watts

4th machine
225 watts

Cruising in at a miserly 217 watts on a 300 watt supply.

But I wonder how much the video capture card sucks up?
