Title: OT Weapons question

Ok I've made several weapons texture at this point. I understand I can't invent mew weapons because of the source code. I just need to know where I go to change how the game looks for the texture. Or isd that source code as well ? Say I have 3 varients of Disruptor textures ( all doing the same set damage) Can I change which one the game looks for ?

Thanks Dizzy , that I knew, my question is if I want thr Roms disruptors to be a beam, and the Klinks to be a burst. how do I make the game recognize the difference even though they would do the same amount of damage ?

You can't add to the # of weapons textures. Only one disruptor rexture for all disruptors, for example. You can only swap out old textures for new. Nice idea though.

Crud the more involved I've gotten with weapons textures the more I'm hating not having the source coded  >:(. Thanks guys for the info, guess I won't kill myself with anymore weapons textures.
