These ships are really remiscent of the Vulcan ship in an episode of TNG...something about stolen decommissioned ships and Romulan plots etc. T'Pau or suchlike I think...otherwise I've just been listening to too much 80's pop (China in your hand)...rofl

Two things. One is the blued irridescent metal texture. Man, that is slick. Second is the warp engine texture. Just awesome to look at as the ship moves.

Now... I know how to make it better. Illuminate the textures with colored lightmaps. I'll play with it and give you an example...

Just stellar model there, bro. Keep em coming.

I just used 3x different types of indexed colored lightmaps that match the warps. Yellow then Blue then pink. They all look cool... Try it out and see. As the model turns in game, it looks like the ship shimmers or the metal is alive. Very cool. Nice model.

Yeah that's the episode that I'm thinking of, I'm sure that that was a Vulcan ship called the T'Pau.
