Another prominent Scientologist in a movie with aliens, this could be bad. Remember Battlefield Earth? Thankfully, this trailer is no Battlefield Earth.
Conclusion on Trailer: The trailer builds tension and gives a good introduction to the story. There's an awful lot of Tom Cruise, so if you're not a fan you might want to avoid it. Otherwise, it's worth the download.
Conclusion on Movie: Production values are high, and Spielberg practically invented the summer blockbuster. I'll be going to see it, so should you.
Note that I am on dialup and didn't view the trailer.

Saw the trailer when finally viewing Star Wars (ep 3) yesterday. We where trying to work out what the music was from, any ideas?
(It seems that most trailers have music from other films on them, as the score is often the last part of the film finished, after the trailers are prepared. Some composers have made a fortune out of their themes been used on multiple trailers)

Haven't seen it or heard it. I'll wait for the DVD. Easier on my health.

i think that it is so hypocritical of hollywood to berate the passion of the christ for its religious context but allow cruise, travolta, moadonna and other non-christians to spout their ideological views as dogma yet berate christianity as a conglomoration of bigoted kooks.
anyways i really think cruise has gotten a terminal case of the big head and while yes i may go to see WOW so as to see how much of the H.G. Wells influence it has kept.

the music was written by John Williams that all I know about the music.
