OK I know I am not the best love person in the d2....but I would like to know what or who won the server for mirror mirror........Its like no person cares.....not even the admins .......hey I am glad to at least have a d2 server to play on....but when the server ends I would like to at least to know who won. I know that the good feds won......but man its like nobody cares.....this is why the d2 only holds about 30 people to play......op is about dead......nobody plays this game anymore.....I would love to play this game 24 7 but I see the same people on time and time again. Its getting to the point of no return. Hey flame away at me if it makes you feel good. I just don't care anymore. I would like to see a server where people can get together and have a fun time. I had a fun time on mirror mirror......but it didn't end right.....its like the end of mirror mirror was a bad taste. Not saying the tech problems where the cause just that the end should have been better then what we got. OK so I said what I needed to say........I will always play whatever server you guys play on and if anybody doesn't want me to play on there side just say so and I will stop. Its seems to me that its just getting crazy about the numbers of players......I see the same people time after time....not that this is bad or anything....just that its the same people time after time. Well thats all I have to say....flame away if you must........I have been here since the start of sfc1.....so it really doesn't matter to me....I can play other games.....like eve......Reejr

I have three (3) words for you, Reejr... Paragraphs, paragraphs, paragraphs.
Truth be told I lied to everyone here in the community on SG4. I promised to have the final tally and results of all the VC's done a week after the server was over and I didnt. I had the Map VC's for all three weeks and the PvP VC's for the 1st two weeks posted and totaled, but week three PvP... It was such a ridiculous blowout for the Alliance that I didnt even bother. I should have gone to play eve too. At least the break I took did me a little good, but I'm surely insane for announcing SG5. Why didnt I learn my lesson?
Maybe the lesson is that it's more important to play the game than it is to win? That will be the focus of SG5, although winning with VC's will still be possible, flying geese will allieviate some of the problems of past server blowouts. Your focus should be on playing, not the final tally. But hey, thats me.
SG4 VC's were setup so that even a losing team could get a chance to get back in the game by use of a hidden VC condition. But when that card was played, the winning team cried foul and spit venom and despite my best efforts to tame the horde and force them to play by the rules, they defied me and crushed the other teams anyway and then bitched even tho they won by a rockslide. I hope each and every one of them that bitched rots in hell.
Now... the VC's for M2...?

The HD on the server physically crashed 3 days before the end.
Who cares who won? I had a blast

Same here I had a great time......Untill real life kicked me in the happy sack :o ;D

IIRC, Hexx did total things up. The "fricken good guys" won.

Mirror Mirror was so far my funnest campaign here, so who cares who won? perhaps all the players like me, who figure the good guys probably won, even though I was not on that team, and that is fine by me. What irks me a bit is that those like me, who really enjoyed the game, dont appear to care what the final tally is. I DO>. It wont change my enjoyement of what was played during that time, it wont deter me in any way from the next one I play, but to actually SEE the numbers would be great. I played for the fun of it, but in the end of the day(or 2 weeks) doesnt everyone(or most) want to say, "I made a difference" or "I had good things come about during the day" or one of many other things one could think to say, and kinda tally them up?
Having lost, or won, I still want to know the final outcome for the 2 teams. I am not using it to compare MY team vs YOUR team, just to see how as a TEAM, we did. Because, as a Team, it was a blast.
Hope you all follow my message, days are really long in my business at this time of year, and 16 hours after starting work is not necessarily the time to type this stuff, but it is the only time I have lately. Dang fingeritis caused me to backspace for spelling about 800 times trying to type this out.

The way the map looked at the end, I'd say it was a stalemate, except for Chuut being a PvP fiend... ;)
BTW: I had a great time, despite some computer problems that limited my time on the server. Now then, that being said, let's get another server running! :carmen:

I've been gone for a couple weeks, but I see no posted results...
I be interested in actually seeing the totals.
But, it was a lot of fun, even though I have to use photons... :P

Yes well.
I had a bunch of RL stuff come up so I didn't get to play, therefore
i decided I really didn't care who won...
Actually I didn't manage to get back to see the map, and since it seemed to end on
a positive note I didn't want to start looking for VP's.
If anyone has a copy of thte fianl map I guess i can go through everything
and figure out who won.

I think Julin did a count. Good guys were ahead in pvp and base placement prevailing over the empire.
-
I think it is safe to say the Blue guys one that one.

*secretly passes some of Wolvies' "Happy Pills" to Reejr*
Good to see you are still alive and kicking, Reej! I expect to be playing Fed again very soon, Reejr. Looking forward to some fine battle with you, ya Klingon bastige! ;-)

I don't have a copy of the map, but have hex locations of placed bases and the PvP totals from both sides. I'm sure Julian does as well.

Due to the fact that the server physically crashed, the nature of the server making the 11th hour plans crucial, and the inabilty to do complete operations, I feel that there is no "fair" way to make an official ruling. IIRC, the Imperials had a number of players ready to place bases in the late stages of the campaign, cause they had large amounts of available prestige, while the Feds were placing bases earlier...
Also, most of my bases placed list was from the reports in the Mirror Jedi Council forum, which was wiped off SFC2.Net recently...
Working with what we have though, the Feds had 3 of the top 4 PvP kill slots, and IIRC the top 2. If necessary, I could dredge up the Mirror Kill thread and do a count myself. We also had a handful (4-5) 10 pt. BATS in the central nebula, with maybe one or 2 more BATS in the "home" nebulas tucked away. Maybe one or 2 Imperial bases that we had seen managed to survive the server.
Players from both sides have agreed that, based on the knowledge we had, the Federation team won. If we need to have a winner, that's the best ruling to use unless Hexx puts the server back up and counts it himself.

Not to worry, Julin, I learned a long time ago to keep such scores written down in case of forum "accidents". I have the PvP scores (which I concur the Feds had 3 of 4 of the "Top Gun" spots) as well as the locations of the BattleStations placed in the Neb Hexes recorded on paper.
If Hexx, or anyone else needs them, I can easily send them via email, PM, etc.

Darth Sexy's enjoyment of your "darkside" wasn't worth any VCs however ;D

We overcame incredible odds to take the victory. That was fun.
